QSFP28 100G CWDM4 transceiver module designed for 2 km optical communication applications with single mode fiber
Description
OM3559CX100 is a QSFP28 transceiver module designed for 2 km optical communication applications
with single mode fiber. It is compliant with 100GE CWDM4 MSA, QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3bm Annex
83E and OIF CEI-28G-VSR standards. Digital diagnostic management interface (DDMI) is realized by
I2C interface in compliance with SFF-8636. The module is RoHS 2 compliant.
This module can convert 4-channel 25 Gbps electrical data to 4-channel optical signals, and mul-tiplex
them into a single channel for 100 Gbps optical transmission. Similarly, it optically de-multiplexes a 100
Gbps input into 4-channel signals, and converts them to 4-channel output electrical data on the receiver
side. It has been designed to meet the harshest external operating conditions including temperature,
humidity and EMI interference.
